Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to define and execute the organization’s infrastructure strategy across enterprise environments.

You will drive standards, resilience, and security at scale, leading modernization efforts such as cloud adoption and automation. You will partner with senior leadership to align infrastructure with business goals, manage complex programs, and mentor engineering teams to deliver enterprise-class solutions.

Qualifications

• The candidate has a bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field with 4–6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Expertise in enterprise networking, security, and infrastructure architecture.
• Advanced experience with VMware virtualization and Windows Server environments.
• Strong proficiency with Exchange, Microsoft 365, and SQL Server.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python).
• Leadership in cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture standards and oversee implementation across environments.
• Lead multi-site infrastructure planning, capacity forecasting, and lifecycle management.
• Govern VMware ESXi/vSphere architecture and automation for DR/BC.
• Establish standards for Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, Intune/Azure Policy, DNS, DHCP, patch mgmt.
• Set network strategy and security frameworks, including zero-trust adoption.
• Collaborate with InfoSec on vulnerability management and compliance.
• Drive cloud governance and multi-cloud strategies; lead cloud migrations.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, audits, and resilience planning.
• Manage Exchange, Microsoft 365, SQL Server and related enterprise systems.
• Lead automation and IaC using PowerShell and Python; Terraform/Ansible adoption.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship; manage vendor relationships and budgets.
