Qualifications

• 8+ years of database administration experience (Oracle/SQL Server).
• Expertise in Oracle and SQL Server performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security management.
• Experience with database monitoring and maintenance tools.
• Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and query optimization skills.
• Ability to design and optimize database architectures for cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and point-in-time recovery.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade DBMS.
• Create and manage database objects (tables, indexes, views, stored procedures).
• Monitor and optimize performance, including tuning and indexing.
• Develop backup and recovery strategies and perform drills.
• Ensure security policies and access controls are enforced.
• Provide support and troubleshoot database issues.
• Collaborate with developers and admins to resolve problems.
• Document configurations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Stay current with database technologies and cloud trends.
