Job summary

EXL is seeking a Sr. Cloud DBA Specialist for a remote role across the U.S., CST preferred. Base salary ranges from $100K to $110K USD, with target bonus and total compensation details described in the posting.

The candidate will manage Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases, including large deployments (>50 TB), while leveraging Linux scripting, cloud services (AWS/Azure/Snowflake/Databricks), and AI-driven automation to optimize performance and DevOps pipelines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Sr. DBA with Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL expertise.
• Experience with very large databases (>50 TB) and performance tuning.
• Proficient in Linux administration and scripting for automation.
• Cloud tech exposure: AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks; AI/GenAI in DB ops.
• Familiarity with GenAI-enabled automation and DevOps integration.
• Experience with AI in cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure services) for DB mgmt.
• Knowledge of S3 bucket/file transfers and Oracle APEX upgrades.
• Exposure to MongoDB and other RDBMS; strong problem solving.
• Compliance, audit support, independent work and cross-team collaboration.
