Job summary

NextGen Healthcare seeks a Technical Advisor to act as the main technical contact for clients, guiding environment setup and data migration across the implementation lifecycle. You will gather requirements, design future-state architectures, configure NextGen components, and transfer knowledge to customers.

The role includes leading technical sessions, reviewing progress with stakeholders, and performing troubleshooting across projects. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years in healthcare IT in a technical role, preferably with enterprise solutions.
• Experience with SaaS / Cloud computing environments.
• Industry certification in networking, SQL, etc.

Responsibilities

• Document and validate customer requirements and map to NextGen functionality.
• Create a system blueprint and dataflow diagram for each project.
• Conduct consulting sessions to ensure technical readiness for production.
• Attend internal project meetings and provide status updates.
• Attend client project meetings and advise on technical architecture.
• Ensure infrastructure meets technical specifications and best practices.
• Lead and participate in continuing education sessions.
• Perform basic and complex troubleshooting; engage other teams as needed.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.
