Job summary

NextGen Healthcare in Georgia seeks a Technical Advisor to lead the technical side of client implementations, migrations, and AWS environment setup. You will gather requirements, design future states, configure system infrastructure, and transfer knowledge to customers while coordinating with the project team.

The role requires 7+ years in healthcare IT, SaaS/cloud experience, and strong SQL/PowerShell skills. Travel to client sites is expected as needed; certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in healthcare IT in a technical role, preferably with enterprise solutions.
• Experience with SaaS / Cloud computing environments.
• Industry networking, SQL, etc. certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document and validate customer requirements and map to NextGen functionality.
• Create system blueprint and dataflow diagrams for projects.
• Conduct consulting sessions to ensure technical readiness for production.
• Attend internal and client project meetings and provide status updates.
• Ensure infrastructure meets technical specs and best practices.
• Execute and modify SQL and PowerShell scripting to meet customer needs.
• Document best practices and contribute to knowledge repositories.
• Lead Continuing Education sessions and complete release training.
• Perform troubleshooting with other teams to resolve issues.
