Job summary

Komodo Health seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own cloud-native infrastructure (Terraform, ArgoCD) and Snowflake data-warehouse operations in a healthcare-focused platform. You’ll optimize cost, security, and reliability while shipping Terraform modules and managing IAM hardening.

You will build and run AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure as code, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and drive FinOps practices across the stack, with on-call shifts and observability at the core of daily work.

Qualifications

• Snowflake in production, SQL, warehouse ops, and query-performance fundamentals.
• Production AWS infra with security and cost awareness.
• Terraform IaC as default from inception.
• Kubernetes (Docker and k8s) in production.
• Scripting in Python/Go/Bash and CI/CD with GitHub Actions/Jenkins/CircleCI/Harness.
• Fluency with AI-assisted engineering tools and safe usage.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize Snowflake environment including warehouse sizing, cost monitoring, and performance triage.
• Build and operate AWS and Kubernetes infra as code via Terraform and GitOps (ArgoCD).
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for app and infra delivery (GitHub Actions or equivalent).
• Drive infra optimization across performance, scalability, and cost (FinOps, tagging).
• Harden cloud security posture with least-privilege IAM/RBAC, networking hygiene, HIPAA/SOC2 alignment.
• Build and maintain centralized observability and participate in on-call rotation.
