Join the Platform team, where we build, operate, and continually improve infrastructure for 150+ client organizations. Your work supports automation, SRE best practices, and cost reduction across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of Platform and Platform customers.
- Build and operate AWS cloud infrastructure based on customer requirements.
- Address development and deployment challenges to keep Platform infrastructure highly reliable, maintainable, and cost-effective.
- Participate in new feature rollout with solution architects, engineers, and customer success teams.
- Lead improvements to data infrastructure, pipeline automation, codebase quality, and/or data quality.
- Design, architect, and implement systems for supporting data processing tasks such as metadata, configuration, and data pipeline inputs.
- Develop and contribute to monitoring and alerting systems for Platform infrastructure.
- Harden infrastructure security, including network, storage, and user access.
- Respond to and resolve key customer issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation.
- Spearhead AI‑driven development workflows, integrating LLM‑based tools into the SDLC to accelerate feature delivery and reduce MTTR.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python with strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience building backend APIs and microservices.
- Expert knowledge of AWS core services and ability to architect scalable solutions from high‑level requirements.
- Experience with Terraform/Scalr and building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (subnets, CIDR, VPCs) to ensure secure, global application accessibility.
- Expertise in big‑data tools and workflow orchestrators such as Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, and Temporal.
- Ability to leverage AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Cursor) to streamline engineering workflows.
- Proactive teamwork and strong cross‑team communication skills with a track record of driving complex projects to completion.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with AWS (certificate is a plus).
- Experience with data privacy concerns such as HIPAA or GDPR.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams and other customer‑facing teams.
- Passion for the mission and technology.
- Ownership mindset – taking accountability and pushing work through to completion.
- Deep expertise in at least one area to contribute quickly and mentor others.

PST / Pacific time zone
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary ranges: San Francisco Bay Area and New York City: $176,000 – $210,000 USD. All other U.S. locations: $153,000 – $190,000 USD.
Role may be eligible for performance‑based bonuses, equity awards, health, dental, vision insurance, flexible time off and holidays, 401(k) with company match, disability and life insurance, and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable laws.
