This remote role emphasizes autonomy, scalable processes, and stakeholder collaboration in a demanding federal context. You will develop CM standards, manage builds, train junior staff, and drive continuous improvements in release workflows across environments.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering across environments.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and autonomous decision-making.
• Experience with regulated or federal environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain configuration management tools for identification, control, reporting, and delivery of software and COTS products.
• Perform CM and release engineering tasks to document operating parameters and ensure compliance with hardware configurations.
• Design, automate, and maintain productivity tools via programming, databases, or scripting to improve modeling and development.
• Design and implement build procedures to support software development and usage.
• Potentially train developers in CM tools and quality standards.
• Adapt to changing duties as assigned by management.
