Job summary

SAIC seeks a Sr. Configuration Analyst to lead software configuration management and release activities for VA applications, including migration to the cloud. The role is 100% remote, offering autonomy and a trusted advisory capability to the client.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate CM expertise, scripting skills, and experience in regulated environments. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering and 10+ years of related experience, with ITIL/CMII credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 10+ years of relevant experience; 8 years may substitute education.
• ITIL Foundation, CMII or equivalent configuration management certifications are a plus.
• Proven track record of leading complex software builds and releases across multiple environments.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains software configuration management tools for identification, control, reporting, and delivery of software and COTS products.
• Performs CM and release engineering tasks ensuring parameters documented and compliant with hardware configurations.
• Designs, develops, automates, and maintains productivity tools using scripting or programming languages.
• Designs and implements build procedures to support software development and use.
• May train developers in CM tools and quality standards.
