Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead cloud modernization for VA cloud migrations. The role emphasizes automation, scalable Azure architectures, security, and cross-functional collaboration with government clients. This is a remote role with potential for national coverage.

You will design CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud permissions, and implement comprehensive monitoring to support compliant, reliable services in Azure GovCloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with substantial years of experience in cloud engineering or systems engineering.
• Advanced Azure certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer Expert, Administrator, Security Engineer) are preferred.
• Proven track record designing and managing Azure infrastructure at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate CI/CD automation for cloud solutions.
• Manage permissions and security in cloud services and environments.
• Implement monitoring to ensure performance and policy compliance.
• Provide cloud support for VAEC Azure GovCloud environments and documentation.
