Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team building Temporal Cloud's core surface areas. You will own end-to-end design for Namespaces, Audit Logs, and Export, shaping security boundaries, workflow management, and scalable data products.

Qualifications

• Experience designing production-grade backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of distributed architectures and reliability patterns.
• Experience with cloud environments and scalable services.
• Proficient in debugging, profiling, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical design for services powering namespace scalability and data products.
• Collaborate with analytics and product engineers to translate requirements into durable event schemas.
• Architect data pipelines for high throughput and reliable data and analytics.
• Establish schema contracts and monitoring to ensure data quality and early anomaly detection.
• Raise engineering quality through reviews, tooling, and maintainable architectures.
• Mentor engineers, foster ownership, and drive pragmatic excellence across the team.
• Improve developer and customer experience via tooling and platform improvements.
