Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability within AWS.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages including Java, Python.
• Expert-level experience with data engineering technologies and tools such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Cassandra and ETL processes.
• Experience building services with Spring (Boot) and gRPC APIs.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, Kubernetes, and containers.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, AI, ML, mobile, etc.).
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification is a plus.
