Job summary

NetSage Corporation is seeking a Principal Java Cloud Software Engineer to develop and enhance scalable Java applications and services for complex mission environments. You will design and build Spring Boot-based solutions, integrate distributed data with Kafka, and operate in containerized, AWS-driven ecosystems.

The ideal candidate has strong Java/Spring Boot experience, MongoDB and Kafka familiarity, and hands-on cloud/container expertise including ECR and Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE).

Qualifications

• TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph required.
• BS in CS or related field with 12 years of relevant experience, or no degree with 16 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Java development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot microservices.
• Experience with MongoDB and distributed data architectures.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based environments including container tech (ECR).
• Experience deploying or supporting apps using Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE) and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance scalable Java-based applications and services.
• Design and build Java-based applications and services, and integrate distributed data and messaging technologies.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle in mission-oriented environments.
• Collaborate with teams to deploy in AWS/Kubernetes-based infrastructures and ensure reliability.
