Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications.
Advanced degree in computer science or financial engineering.
Demonstrated Software Development skills, including designing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting reliable application components.
Experience developing server-side services and applying enterprise integration patterns.
Ability to use Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving to evaluate technical challenges, identify effective solutions, and make sound implementation decisions.
Ability to learn a diverse technology stack and deliver solutions with a strong Customer Orientation.
Experience implementing software quality, security, testing, and production-support practices.
Ability to collaborate across business and technology teams while adapting to changing delivery priorities.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver modern, cloud-ready solutions across financial research engineering, data engineering, and full-stack application development.
Help modernize research platforms, enhance Java-based microservices and user experiences, strengthen data pipelines and analytics infrastructure, and advance cloud data capabilities.
Work closely with business partners, architects, and other engineers to solve complex problems and deliver secure, dependable software.
Contribute to continuous improvement and adapt to evolving priorities to create meaningful outcomes for Schwab clients.
