Job summary

NetSage Corporation is seeking a Principal Java Cloud Software Engineer to develop and enhance scalable Java applications and services for complex mission environments. You will design and build Spring Boot-based solutions, integrate distributed data with Kafka, and operate in containerized, AWS-driven ecosystems.

The ideal candidate has strong Java/Spring Boot experience, MongoDB and Kafka familiarity, and hands-on cloud/container expertise including ECR and Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE).

Qualifications

• TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph required.
• BS in CS or related field with 12 years of relevant experience, or no degree with 16 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Java development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot microservices.
• Experience with MongoDB and distributed data architectures.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based environments including container tech (ECR).
• Experience deploying or supporting apps using Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE) and Kafka.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Principal Java Cloud Software Engineer to develop and enhance scalable software applications supporting complex, data-intensive mission environments. In this role, you will design and build Java-based applications and services, integrate distributed data and messaging technologies, and contribute across the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong Java and Spring Boot development experience with familiarity in MongoDB, Kafka, containerized environments, and AWS services.
