Job summary
Prescient Edge is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain secure GovCloud infrastructures across AWS and Azure for a Federal Government client. You will configure IAM/RBAC, manage VPCs and firewalls, and drive cost-efficient, compliant cloud operations.
Experienced in IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates) and DoD RMF/NIST requirements, you will collaborate with teams to optimize workloads, provide reports, and support workload placement across IL2/IL4/IL5
Qualifications
- Ability to design, deploy, and maintain GovCloud-based infrastructures across AWS and Azure.
- Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud configurations and RMF/NIST DoD requirements.
- Proficiency in IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates) and security automation.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud environments in AWS and Azure.
- Configure IAM, RBAC, and cloud security groups with strong access controls.
- Optimize networking (VPC, VPNs, cross-domain) for secure cloud operations.
- Develop IaC solutions to automate secure deployments.
- Produce monthly reports on cloud usage, costs, and compliance.
