Job summary

Omni Federal seeks an experienced Cloud Architect to support a DoD/DCSA managed service contract. The role requires a highly autonomous, top-secret cleared professional to own cloud engineering, incident ticket management, and complex troubleshooting in hybrid/multi-cloud environments (primarily AWS GovCloud, with Azure support).

A SIPR/SCIF on-site presence is expected 30%–50% of the time. The ideal candidate will lead incident responses, architect robust cloud solutions, and interact directly

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• 8+ years of senior/architect-level experience in cloud engineering.
• Must be able to work on-site in a SIPR/SCIF environment 30–50% of the time.
• Experience architecting in AWS GovCloud and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the escalation point for complex cloud engineering and incident tickets.
• Design robust cloud solutions, troubleshoot deep system issues, and coordinate with customers and development teams.
• Lead major incident responses and ensure SLAs are met across INC queues.
• Navigate CAC/PKI authentication, SSO/SAML, and IAM policy configurations in secure environments.
