Job summary

Omitron is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and secure hybrid cloud networks across AWS GovCloud and Azure Government. The role emphasizes DoD policy compliance, network automation, and secure connectivity to on‑prem networks.

You will implement hub‑and‑spoke architectures, manage VNet/Transit Gateway, and apply RMF, NIST SP 800‑53, and STIGs. Collaboration with cybersecurity teams is essential to maintain Zero Trust security across environments.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure, resilient cloud networks across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and other environments.
• Configure and optimize VPCs, VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and security groups.
• Implement hybrid and multi‑cloud networking solutions with secure routing and segmentation.
• Harden cloud networks to meet DoD security standards (RMF, NIST 800‑53, STIGs).
• Automate provisioning with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement Zero Trust architectures and encryption.
• Develop engineering docs, diagrams, and operating procedures for enterprise and classified environments.
