Job summary

Blueprint Technologies is seeking a Senior Terraform Infrastructure Engineer to drive modernization across Azure Kubernetes Service and VM workloads, migrating APIs, web apps, and databases to Azure Container Apps and Azure SQL. You will own infrastructure design, security, and deliver reusable Terraform modules while guiding platform decisions with engineering, security, data, and operations teams.

You will evaluate AKS workloads, manage CI/CD promotions, and ensure reliable rollback procedures

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering, cloud/DevOps
• 5+ years delivering production Azure environments with Terraform
• Expert in Terraform architecture and IaC practices
• Deep knowledge of AKS and Kubernetes troubleshooting
• Experience containerizing and migrating APIs and web apps
• Strong Windows/Linux Azure VM migration experience
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and security tooling

Responsibilities

• Lead Terraform architecture for migration landing zones, networking, security, and monitoring
• Build reusable Terraform modules for Azure resources and environments
• Manage Terraform providers, remote state, drift detection, and CI/CD promotions
• Evaluate AKS workloads, troubleshoot control-plane interactions, and balance AKS/VM deployments
• Assess containerized APIs and web apps for runtime dependencies, scaling, and networking
• Plan and execute migrations from Azure VMs to Azure SQL and managed services
• Establish observability, runbooks, and rollback procedures
• Partner with cross-functional teams to document decisions and migrations
