Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to own day-to-day administration, optimization, security, and evolution of our Azure-centric cloud platforms, with GCP support. You will drive architecture, governance, and modernization initiatives across global operations, while hands-on delivering reliable cloud services.

You will lead architecture reviews, manage migrations, enforce security and FinOps, and collaborate with executives to align technology with business goals.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on Azure administration, engineering, networking, storage, security, and operations.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure in production.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Terraform, Bicep, ARM, and automation.
• Knowledge of Azure governance, IAM, security controls, and FinOps.
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise Azure & GCP standards and architecture patterns.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and cost-optimization efforts.
• Maintain cloud security posture, governance, and IAM controls.
• Automate infrastructure with IaC and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, patch, and manage cloud environments and incidents.
