Job summary

Connection is seeking a Principal Cloud Solution Architect to lead enterprise cloud modernization initiatives across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. You will guide executive-level stakeholders, mentor architects, and shape Connection's Cloud Center of Excellence while delivering secure, scalable, and future-ready cloud solutions.

You will partner with sales and technical teams to drive strategy, architecture, and successful client outcomes in complex environments, ensuring long-term cloud adoption

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cloud architecture or related consulting roles.
• Current cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
• Experience leading complex cloud transformation and migration projects.
• Strong customer-facing, consultative technology experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise clients to understand business objectives and technology strategies.
• Design and architect cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP, including hybrid and cloud-native tech.
• Lead discovery sessions and solution workshops with executives and technical stakeholders.
• Develop cloud modernization roadmaps aligning investments with business outcomes.
• Guide large-scale cloud migrations, modernization, DevOps adoption, and infra transformations.
• Ensure secure, scalable, resilient, and long-term optimized solutions.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior IT leaders and decision-makers.
• Support pre-sales, solution positioning, and RFP responses.
• Mentor architects and contribute to the Cloud Center of Excellence.
• Stay ahead of emerging cloud tech and industry best practices.
