Job summary

Hyundai Capital America is seeking a Sr. Cloud Architect to design and govern scalable AWS platforms across multi-account environments.

You will partner with engineering, security, and product teams to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance while delivering cost-efficient solutions. You will lead architecture reviews, drive cloud modernization, DR planning, and governance, and mentor other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cloud architecture for new and existing solutions, establishing reference architectures, standards, and best practices.
• Design scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions aligned with business, security, and operational requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop solution roadmaps, implementation plans, and migration strategies.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, mentoring, and design guidance.
• Lead cloud modernization, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Design secure cloud foundations, multi-account environments, networking, and connectivity architectures.
• Establish infrastructure-as-code, automation, and governance standards to support scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Lead strategic cloud initiatives that support Digital Division objectives.
• Provide executive reporting and visibility into project status, performance metrics, risks, and key deliverables.
• Define and implement cloud security controls, monitoring, and risk management practices.
• Maintain reference architectures, reusable patterns, and governance processes aligned with enterprise and AWS best practices.
• Maintain architecture documentation, implementation plans, migration runbooks, and operational artifacts.
• Lead architecture reviews and document risks, exceptions, and governance decisions.
