Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a specialized Security Solutions Architect to partner with large Financial Services customers.

You will identify and tackle major security, risk, and compliance questions from stakeholders and build CIO/CISO/CRO relationships to guide secure cloud adoption. You will work with customer security, audit, risk and compliance teams to design controls, enable ongoing assurance, and craft automated compliance in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology domains (e.g. software, cloud, security, data analytics).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level.
• Experience developing security solutions and end-to-end security roadmaps for cloud transformations.
• Proven experience communicating security concepts to executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Help overcome barriers to AWS adoption in Financial Services accounts by identifying and tackling major security, risk and compliance questions from stakeholders within financial institutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions to work through risk, security, and compliance concerns.
• Work with customer stakeholders to identify controls and educate auditors and examiners on third-party supplier arrangements and audits when AWS is in scope.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with CIO/CISO/CRO and policy approvers and owners.
• Develop high-quality technical content such as white papers and reference architectures for secure and compliant cloud solutions.
• Assess security and controls knowledge across AWS teams and develop plans to address gaps.
