Job summary

Avangrid Management Company, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Lead Cloud Architect to drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced digital solutions across the organization.

The role demands leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on expertise in cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and cross-team collaboration. The ideal candidate will lead cloud architecture efforts, mentor teams, and ensure architectures are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of cloud-based solutions and platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure, including IaC and CaC methodologies.
• Develop and enforce CI/CD strategies for efficient software development and deployment across environments.
• Establish comprehensive solution architecture documentation to guide internal teams.
• Oversee microservices frameworks and front-end architectures for best practices.
