Job summary

Appnovation is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design scalable, secure AWS platforms and guide architecture decisions for enterprise-scale deployments. You will craft multi-region strategies, implement caching and data federation, and drive non-functional excellence across the engineering lifecycle.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with security and compliance teams, and steer build-vs-buy choices while maintaining performance and cost controls for mission-critical content delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 8+ years in engineering with 3+ years in architecture.
• Senior cloud architecture experience on AWS; certification preferred.
• Experience designing high-scale, multi-region distributed systems.
• IaC and containerization experience with Terraform/Docker/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Architect platform for enterprise scale (tens of thousands of users) on AWS.
• Evaluate scalability of backend, design caching tiers and global federation.
• Own load-testing strategy and performance targets across geographies.
• Ensure architecture meets security and access-control needs for sensitive content.
• Produce architecture diagrams, decision records, and standards.
• Mentor engineers on cloud best practices and patterns.
• Define non-functional requirements: availability, resilience, cost, observability.
• Partner with security and compliance for enterprise controls.
• Support build-vs-buy decisions and technology evaluations.
