Job Description

EHCG is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to support a critical government project. The candidate should have deep knowledge of cloud technologies, data storage architectures, and security best practices to ensure secure, efficient, and cost-effective storage strategies across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Support network and application engineering, including design, analysis, testing, and documentation.
• Gather and review technical and business requirements for cloud, DevOps, and collaboration tools; contribute to project scope and scheduling.
• Engage with government customers and technical teams to address requirements and provide recommendations.
• Identify and recommend cloud solutions, analyze current capabilities, develop transition plans, and define success criteria.
• Ensure cloud deployments comply with DOD security standards and collaborate with RMF and infrastructure teams.
• Support change management, provisioning processes, and documentation.

Location

This is a remote position with occasional travel to Philadelphia, PA.

Requirements

• Active DOD Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• IAT III certification (e.g., CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP).
• At least 7 years of experience in software engineering or IT systems architecture.
• Minimum 3 years as a Cloud Engineer/Architect with leadership in cloud projects and digital transformations.
• Strong experience with AWS or Azure.
• Deep knowledge of cloud storage technologies (S3, Blob, EBS, EFS, etc.).
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Understanding of ITSM frameworks, enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and security principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
