Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a self-driven Cloud Solution Architect to join our Cloud team, which comprises professionals with advanced technical and leadership skills in Cloud and Application services. The team focuses on developing reusable services and capabilities, providing secure solutions for national needs. The candidate must have a passion for innovation, experience in enterprise solution development for Federal/DoD proposals, and serve as a Lead Solution Architect in digital transformation, modernization programs, and solutions including cloud offerings, Scaled Agile Framework, SecDevOps, Kubernetes, microservices, and security.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading solution architecture for large deal opportunities
• Developing cloud and application services solutions and artifacts
• Authoring whitepapers and technical presentations
• Continuously updating skills with emerging technologies
• Defining best practices for Cloud and Application Services
• Communicating technical topics to diverse audiences
• This position is fully remote with minimal travel
• Attending technical vendor and trade conferences

Qualifications

Required:

• BA/BS and 8 years of experience, or equivalent experience
• Design and development skills in complex cloud and application solutions
• Strong experience with Cloud/AWS (primary) and Azure (secondary)
• Kubernetes, DevSecOps, Serverless technologies
• Excellent proposal and whitepaper writing skills
• Deep Lead Solution Architect experience in enterprise solutions
• Broad technology background with research skills
• Leadership and communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Experience with Agile frameworks
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

Preferred:

• Government or Federal experience
• Development background
