Job summary

Arista Networks is seeking a technically proficient Technical Support Engineer to join our Customer Engineering team in a dynamic, lab-focused environment. The role emphasizes diagnosing complex customer environments, coordinating with software and hardware development, and delivering timely, high-quality support.

You will work with Linux systems, REST APIs, and cloud-related services, documenting issues and driving fixes in collaboration with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will troubleshoot complex customer environments and triage effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• 5+ years in a TAC/Support role with hands-on lab reproduction experience.
• Strong Linux and shell scripting skills and network knowledge (HTTP, TCP, IP, subnetting).
• Experience with REST APIs, Swagger, JSON, and REST clients (curl, Postman, Python).
• MS in CS/EE/ITP or equivalent; industry certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software, and propose corrective actions.
• Document customer interactions and recurring issues for quality programs.
• Reproduce issues in the lab and coordinate with development/QA to verify fixes.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to improve product support.
