AXON Networks is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join its Information Security organization. You will secure cloud-native platforms, review Kubernetes configurations, and enhance secure development practices across engineering teams.

The role focuses on application security, cloud security, and the software supply chain, partnering with DevOps, Platform Engineering, and QA to ensure robust defenses. Local Irvine based, with US remote options.

Competenze

• Minimum 5+ years in application or cloud security or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes.
• Experience with security testing tools (SAST/SCA, container, secrets).
• Ability to translate findings into actionable controls and remediation.

Mansioni

• Partner with development teams to improve secure coding and app security.
• Review security findings from SAST, SCA, container scans and secrets tooling.
• Assist with threat modeling and secure API design requirements.
• Implement and validate security controls in CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage vulnerability triage and remediation collaboration with teams.
• Support security testing, incident response, and detective capabilities.
• Contribute to security architecture reviews and risk identification.
• Provide mentorship to Security Champions and engineering staff.
