Humana Inc. invites a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer to lead Enterprise API platforms with Apigee, spanning design, planning, integration, and operations across cloud and on‑prem environments.
You will collaborate with engineers and architects to deploy scalable API solutions and CI/CD pipelines, while ensuring security and performance. Strong hands-on API management, cloud engineering experience, and the ability to translate complex requirements into robust cloud infrastructure are essential
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in Enterprise API Management and Integration Platforms like APIGEE, IBM APIC.
- 3 years of hands-on cloud engineering experience (Azure, AWS and/or GCP).
- Experience in cloud architecture (infrastructure, storage, networking, security, costing).
- Expertise with Azure and GCP tools, Bash scripts, Terraform to configure cloud assets.
- Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining API Management platforms like APIGEE; API development & troubleshooting in APIGEE.
- Experience with Postman, JMeter, etc.
- Knowledge of XML/JSON, SOAP/REST, OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, JWT, SSO, logging policies, and caching.
- Understanding CI/CD for Apigee implementation.
- Expertise in Kubernetes for deployment, scaling and management.
- Experience with containerization.
Responsibilities
- Implements Enterprise API and Integration platforms strategy from a technical perspective for hybrid cloud/on-prem.
- Develop specifications for new IT cloud products and services to support API Platform deliverables.
- Implement API solutions using API Management platforms like Apigee including proxies, rate limiting, security, and analytics.
- Monitor and manage Enterprise API and Integration environments including networks, systems, and applications.
- Set up CI/CD pipelines with architects to ensure secure, efficient delivery of new features.
- Collaborate with API and Integration architects on design, implementation, testing, deployment and support.
- Communicate solutions to technical and business stakeholders.
- Identify dependencies and roadblocks; coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve.
