Danaher seeks a Staff Platform Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain core cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and a self-service platform for data scientists and engineers. You’ll drive security by design, data governance, and reliability across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and mentor engineers while setting technical standards.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Data and AI Platform within the CIO Office in Washington, DC, this fully remote role offers a chance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience, including hands-on data/AI/ML infra work.
• Deep hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP) and familiarity with multi-cloud environments.
• Strong experience with IaC, CI/CD tooling, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in at least one automation language (Python/Go/Bash).
• Security, monitoring, and reliability practices for production systems.
• Ability to set technical direction at platform scale and mentor engineers.

Responsabilités

• Build, automate, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, secure code-to-prod paths.
• Develop a self-service platform for compute, data, and ML resources.
• Embed security, governance, quality, and compliance by design with strong observability.
• Mentor engineers, drive technical standards, and collaborate across teams.
