Job summary

Danaher Corporation in the United States is seeking a Senior Engineer, Application Security to embed security into the SDLC and product engineering. You will work across product and platform teams with hands-on security testing and threat modeling in a fully remote setup.

The role focuses on scale testing (SAST/DAST/SCA, IaC, API and cloud-native security), secure-by-design patterns, and automation in CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in application security or security-focused engineering.
• Experience embedding security into the SDLC and threat modeling.
• Experience with CI/CD security tooling and remediation.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% and across locations.

Responsibilities

• Engineer AppSec testing at scale: SAST/DAST/SCA/secret scanning, IaC scanning, API and mobile security, and container/cloud-native app security in CI/CD.
• Architect secure-by-design patterns, paved roads, and release risk gates for product teams.
• Build automation and guardrails to scale coverage across pipelines.
• Support SBOM/OSS-risk processes and VDP/bug-bounty intake workflows.
