Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal Innovation Developer – Cloud & AI to drive incubation projects spanning AI, cloud-native architectures, and emerging software tech. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, AI/ML or related field.
• Typically 10–15 years of software development experience.
• At least 3–5 years focused on cloud-native and AI/ML systems.
• Strong Python programming with ML libraries.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical contributor on AI and cloud-native incubation projects.
• Lead teams of up to 5–6 engineers through full lifecycle of concept development.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging software technologies including Generative AI frameworks.
• Design, build, and validate microservices and cloud-native systems across clouds, data centers, and edge.
• Contribute to architecture decisions ensuring scale, performance, security and reliability.
• Collaborate with customers, leads and stakeholders to align tech with business goals.
• Conduct research spikes, proofs-of-concept, and experiments evaluating feasibility.
• Implement high-quality code with CI/CD, testing, and observability best practices.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge-sharing on advanced software and AI topics.
• Work across multiple parallel projects in a dynamic environment.
