Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Principal Innovation Developer in Cloud & AI to drive incubation projects across AI and cloud-native tech. You will design, implement, and validate advanced solutions spanning distributed systems and generative AI, while mentoring engineers and coordinating across cross-functional teams.

You will work in a hybrid environment, averaging 2–3 days on-site in Massachusetts, with emphasis on secure, scalable, and observable cloud services across edge to cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, AI/ML, or related field.
• Typically 10-15 years of software development experience, with 3-5 years in cloud-native and AI/ML systems.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and ML libraries; hands-on with distributed systems and microservices.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a senior technical contributor on complex AI and cloud-native incubation projects.
• Lead teams of up to 5-6 engineers through full lifecycle from concept to delivery.
• Evaluate emerging software technologies including Generative AI frameworks.
• Design, build, and validate microservices and cloud-native systems.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for scale, performance, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders to align tech with strategy.
• Conduct spikes, proofs-of-concept, and experiments to evaluate feasibility.
• Implement high-quality code with CI/CD, observability, and AI-assisted tooling.
• Mentor team members and drive knowledge sharing across teams.
• Manage multiple parallel projects in a dynamic environment.
