Job summary

EY is seeking a senior technical leader to drive design, development and delivery of complex software platforms. You will lead teams, solve escalated technical challenges, and shape AI-forward development practices to improve quality and speed.

The role requires deep expertise in software engineering, data modeling, and cloud tools, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD and scalable architectures. Hybrid work will be supported in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred
• More than 10 years applied experience
• Significant relevant experience in software or platform engineering roles
• CI/CD delivery using code management, configuration management and automation tools such as GitHub, ADO
• Proficiency in fine‑tuning language models for specific tasks (text generation, summarization, QA)
• Knowledge of embedding models for NLP tasks like similarity matching, clustering, information retrieval
• Familiarity with agentic systems combining AI models with external tools for autonomous decisions
• Ability to design robust evaluation frameworks for AI models and agents (A/B testing, metrics)

Responsibilities

• Solves complex and escalated aspects of a project, coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting
• Provides advanced technical expertise to maximize efficiency and value from current solutions
• Develops strong working relationships across Development, Engineering and Architecture teams
• Provides a leadership role for the work group to deliver the project
• Drives consistency to processes, standards and technical design
