Job summary

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies seeks a Lead Clinician to oversee clinical services in residential and outpatient settings. The role includes supervision of clinicians, charting, and development of treatment curricula, with emphasis on quality assurance and program development.

The position requires a doctoral or master's degree in counseling or clinical social work, Wyoming licensure or eligibility, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or Master's degree in Counseling or Clinical Social Work from CACREP/CORE/CSWE-accredited program.
  • Fully licensed as LCSW, LPC, LAT, or LMFT in Wyoming or eligible for licensure if out-of-state.
  • Meets qualifications required for a substance abuse professional per Wyoming standards.
  • One year of supervisory experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily oversight of clinical facility operations, utilization reviews, and QA of patient services.
  • Supervise clinicians and assist with program development under Clinical Director.
  • Complete social histories, assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries promptly.
  • Provide individual counseling and facilitate education groups; document activities in records.
  • Develop curricula for group/ family sessions and therapeutic activities.
  • Coordinate services with the multidisciplinary team and community resources.
  • Manage clinical training schedule and handle time cards, leave, and disciplinary actions.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and carry out other duties as assigned.
