Job summary

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies is seeking a Lead Clinician to oversee clinical operations in Sheridan, WY. The role includes supervision of clinicians, designing group curricula, and ensuring quality and compliance across residential, recovery homes, and outpatient services.

You will coordinate with the Clinical Director, manage documentation, and support treatment planning while maintaining confidentiality and a patient-centered approach in a busy behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's in Counseling or Clinical Social Work from CACREP/CORE/CSWE accredited program.
• Fully licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LAT, or LMFT or eligible for licensure if current licensure is out-of-state.
• Meet qualifications required for a substance abuse professional, clinician, or assistant by the Wyoming Division of Behavioral Health Standards.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Proficient in the use of computer software including Microsoft Office and desktop publishing.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to stay organized and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of clinical facility operations, QA of patient services.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director for program development and management of care services.
• Provide daily supervision of clinicians and monitor documentation.
• Complete social histories, assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries promptly.
• Develop educational/therapeutic curricula for group settings.
• Coordinate services with multidisciplinary team and community resources.
• Manage training schedule for the clinical team.
• Handle time cards, leave, and disciplinary actions.
