Job summary

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies seeks a Lead Clinician to oversee counseling and education-based treatment across residential, recovery, and outpatient programs. You will supervise clinicians, ensure high-quality, compliant services, and guide program development with the Sr. Director of Clinical Services.

You’ll supervise daily clinical operations, oversee documentation, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, while managing training schedules and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Counseling or Clinical Social Work from CACREP/CORE/CSWE accredited program.
• Fully licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LAT, or LMFT or eligible for licensure if out-of-state.
• Meet qualifications required for a substance abuse professional per Wyoming standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and desktop publishing.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of clinical facility operations and quality assurance of patient services.
• Supervise clinicians and monitor all written documentation.
• Coordinate daytime on-call and after-hours coverage as needed.
• Complete social histories, assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries promptly.
• Develop educational/therapeutic curricula for group settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and community resources to coordinate care.
• Manage training schedules for the clinical team.
• Handle administrative duties including timecards and leave.
