Job summary

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies in Sheridan, WY is seeking a Lead Clinician to provide counseling and education-based treatment across residential, recovery homes, and outpatient settings. This role includes supervising clinicians, ensuring quality and compliance, and contributing to program development.

The Lead Clinician will develop curricula for group settings, monitor documentation, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate services and training for staff.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's in Counseling/Clinical Social Work from CACREP/CORE/CSWE accredited program.
• Fully licensed as LCSW/LPC/LAT/LMFT or eligible for licensure if out-of-state.
• Meet Wyoming standards for behavioral health professionals.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite and desktop publishing.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of clinical facility operations and quality assurance.
• Supervise clinicians and monitor written documentation.
• Develop and implement educational/therapeutic curricula for groups.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with community resources and referrals.
• Manage training schedules for the clinical team.
• Handle time cards, leave, and disciplinary actions.
• Assist in charting social histories, assessments, and treatment plans.
