Job summary

Michigan Medicine seeks a motivated report writer to join the Clinical Trials Management Systems Team. You will translate business questions into clear requirements and deliver reliable reports and dashboards to support CTSO operations and unit performance.

Collaborate with clinicians and operational staff, learn the CTMS data models, and contribute to scalable reporting infrastructure across the medical school. A hybrid/remote work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of databases, data models, and data governance.
• Experience with analytics, reporting, and BI tools (Tableau, Jasper Reports, Crystal Reports).
• Ability to gather complex requirements and design reliable reports.
• Familiarity with version control and collaborative development practices.
• Ability to assess feasibility and propose practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into actionable requirements.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for CTSO operations and units.
• Support upgrades and maintenance of CTMS reporting infrastructure.
• Provide technical assistance to CTMS Team and HITS partners.
