Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a senior clinical systems analyst to collaborate with key stakeholders, end users, and team members to identify and resolve issues across assessment, design, build, testing, training, and implementation of clinical application systems.

The role includes ongoing support, mentoring of junior analysts, and potential leadership of other staff or contractors. Epic certification must be achieved within 6 months, including two test retakes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree requirement or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Minimum of five years with experience with clinical, hospital and/or financial applications and systems.
Proven project management skills, tools and methodologies.
Proven experience leading committees, projects and activities.
Epic Certification required within 6 months of employment (including 2 test retakes).
Epic Hyperspace applications experience preferred.
Epic Ambulatory certification preferred.
Epic Healthy Planet/Compass Rose certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify and resolve issues throughout system development phases (assessment, design, build, testing, training, implementation).
Provide ongoing support of clinical application systems for project operations.
Mentor other clinical systems analysts and potentially direct work of staff or contractors.
