Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Senior Clinical Social Worker to lead psychosocial care for the Pediatric Hematology & Oncology Program. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, provide intervention to children up to age 22 and their families, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams across the cancer care continuum.

The role combines clinical caseload with program leadership, survivorship and bereavement initiatives, and quality improvement to enhance family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work required.
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) required.
• 3–5 years clinical social work in a medical setting required; 5–10 years preferred.
• Experience leading psychosocial, survivorship or family support programs is desirable.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and program development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessments of patients and families with complex needs.
• Deliver clinical care to individuals, families, and groups in a medical setting.
• Perform mandated safety assessments when abuse or violence is suspected.
• Screen and address social determinants of health and maintain records.
• Lead development and evaluation of psychosocial and family support programs.
