Job summary

UCSF Health seeks an experienced Clinical Research Supervisor II to lead a diverse portfolio of clinical studies across multiple surgical divisions. You will oversee study startup, regulatory implementation, enrollment management, quality assurance, and financial stewardship while managing CRCs and investigators.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliant and efficient study operations across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area.
• Minimum of 3 years of Lead/Supervisory/Manager experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Broad knowledge of clinical or laboratory research and clinical research philosophy.
• Demonstrated project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated experience supervising clinical research staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of clinical research studies, investigators, and CRCs.
• Provide full operational oversight across the study lifecycle including feasibility, startup, regulatory implementation, enrollment, quality assurance, conduct and closeout.
• Oversee staffing, performance management, program development, and financial stewardship for assigned studies.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop operational strategies supporting staffing models and workload forecasting.
• Ensure studies are conducted in compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
