Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine seeks a Senior Clinical Research Director to lead TBICoE-related clinical research initiatives at Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, NC.

You will oversee study design, regulatory compliance, and the dissemination of findings to advance military brain health. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets, and build capacity for program expansion while ensuring DoD and DoD-related regulatory standards are met.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in health or medical field; relevant terminal doctorate preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of clinical and/or research experience in traumatic brain injury.
• 5–10 years of research experience with peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
• 2–5 years of management experience preferred.
• Prior DoD/VA system experience; completion of CITI/HIPAA training.
• Current license to practice in the US (or equivalent) without major restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage clinical research from strategic vision to dissemination of findings.
• Support implementation, communication, and ongoing execution of research, program evaluation, and performance measurement.
• Coordinate with program managers and site investigators to prepare grant applications, develop contracts, and write sponsor reports.
• Contribute to study budgets and ensure budget compliance; track protocol performance metrics.
• May have budgetary responsibility including forecast; participate in required trainings.
