The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) seeks a Research Scientist to develop and supervise clinical TBI research projects at Fort Carson, Colorado.

The role applies diverse scientific principles to potential inventions and protocols, and develops new technologies for TBICoE-supported work. Qualified candidates will have a doctoral degree and 2–3 years of clinical research experience, with DoD/VA neuro experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Doctoral degree required; terminal doctorate preferred or Master’s with 10+ years in clinical TBI research.
• Must complete CITI/HIPAA training.
• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical research experience.
• Prior DoD/VA neuro disorders and TBI experience strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Plan, execute, and supervise laboratory and clinical TBI research projects.
• Formulate hypotheses, design protocols, and oversee experiments.
• Monitor literature, prepare reports and manuscripts for journals and grant applications.
• Coordinate new grant/funding applications and interpret data.
• Train and supervise technical staff; ensure documentation and standards.
