Job summary

Iambic Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional planning and execution of clinical drug development programs. This on-site role at our San Diego Headquarters requires coordinating multiple workstreams and external partners to meet study milestones and deliverables.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of PM experience in pharma/biotech or 5+ years with a Master's, with oncology experience preferred and familiarity with Clinical Operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry or a Master’s with 5+ years.
• Master’s degree with 5+ years experience is acceptable.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Familiarity with regulatory submission processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and tracking of project timelines and deliverables to align with milestones and company goals.
• Oversee relationships with third-party vendors (e.g., CROs) and monitor scope, timelines, and performance.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans across development workstreams, including risk assessments and budget tracking.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations to track study timelines and critical path activities from start-up through execution.
• Facilitate meetings by creating agendas, capturing decisions, and tracking action items.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including status reports and risk registers.
• Monitor progress and implement mitigation strategies for risks, delays, or resource gaps.
• Foster strong communication across Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Safety, Biostatistics, Data Management, CMC, and DMPK.
