Job summary

VillageMD is seeking an experienced nursing operations leader to administer, direct, and coordinate clinical and business activities across multiple medical offices. You will work with physicians to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care and supervise nursing services per regulatory standards.

Required are an RN with a BSN (MSN/MPH preferred) and at least 5 years of management experience, with strong budgeting and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN or Master’s in Health Care or Management.
• NYS RN license.
• Critical Care experience required.
• Budgeting experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Management experience.
• Ability to oversee other specialty departments, as well as Urgent Care.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with non-clinical systems such as Payroll, scheduling, and time and attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the management of daily operations at Medical Offices.
• Manages personnel and activities at the Medical Office per organizational policies and procedures.
• Directs and supervises Nursing Services in accordance with governmental and regulatory standards.
• Oversees nursing care essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance and restoration of patients’ health and wellness.
• Develops and implements clinical policies and procedures.
• Monitors compliance with established budgets, ensuring effective staff and resource utilization.
• Collaborates with outside vendors to ensure contract compliance and support.
• Responds to patient concerns and promotes quality patient care.
