Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
• 5+ years of clinical or ancillary outpatient experience.
• Five (5) years of progressive leadership with focus on education, regulatory compliance, department leadership, related nursing systems and/or patient safety systems.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise provider nursing/clinical activities across outpatient settings.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care.
• Oversee education and training of provider nursing/clinical staff.
• Serve as administrative liaison to midlevel providers in the outpatient practice.
• Contribute to NGDC Senior Management Team in strategic planning and goals.

Job description

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Clinical Services for our large multispecialty outpatient practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the delivery of quality patient care through effective management of our clinical staff and nursing activities. This role will coordinate all clinical operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Using the organization's objectives and philosophies as a guide; coordinates and monitors the general supervision, planning, direction and evaluation of all aspects of the organization's provider nursing/clinical activities.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures and monitors the daily operations and activities of the organization's provider nursing/clinical functions to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
• Accountable for all phases of education and training of the provider nursing/clinical staff as it pertains to the delivery of care within the organization's health care continuum.
• Collaboration with Midlevel Providers: Serve as the primary administrative liaison to midlevel providers within the outpatient practice.
• Participate as a member of the NGDC Senior Management Team in the development of the vision, strategic planning, and development of the organization’s goals & objectives.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum of 5 years of Clinical or Ancillary experience in an outpatient environment.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience with a focus on education, regulatory compliance, department leadership, related nursing systems and/or patient safety systems.
• Current CPR certification
