Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must hold State of Florida Laboratory Personnel license
• 2 years with Bachelor’s degree
• 4 years with Associate’s degree
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Responsibilities

• Manage quality assessment and technical oversight
• Oversee scheduling and training of staff
• Assist with SOPs and document control
• Assess competencies per CLIA regulations
• Read and interpret complex test results
• Maintain instrument performance and troubleshooting
• Lead quality control and QA testing
• Support data collection for projects
• Perform pre-analytical activities and specimen handling
• Perform analytical and post-analytical testing per procedures
• Participate in PI activities and committees
• Supervise shift operations and staff coordination
• Ensure safety policies and PPE usage
• Provide orientation and mentorship to new staff
