Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Florida Laboratory Personnel licensure in all areas.
• 2 years with Bachelor's or 4 years with Associate; must read/write/speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of laboratory procedures within assigned clinical areas.
• Lead and coordinate laboratory processes and shifts to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee quality control activities and support performance improvement.
• Train and mentor new laboratory staff and team members.
• Troubleshoot technical, operational, and customer service issues for coworkers and clinicians.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, validation, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
• Develop, review, and update lab policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Perform analytical testing with high technical accuracy across disciplines.
• Ensure accurate interpretation, verification, and reporting of results.
• Complete pre-analytical to post-analytical testing per requirements.
• Adhere to policies, regulatory standards, and QA practices.
• Foster strong relationships with physicians and nursing staff.
